Hey, Drew Dawson here.
While I began along a more traditional visual design path, I find my passion has manifested itself in using logic, problem solving, and design thinking to craft human-centered experiences. I focus on UI, UX, Interaction Design, and Product Strategy across physical and digital platforms.
I've been with Bowers & Wilkins since 2012, working on wireless home A/V solutions and their companion experiences.

Writing
As the proud son of a Librarian and a Journalism major, writing will always have a special role in my life. I believe an experience can never be fully expressed with visuals alone - words (even the sparing use of) bring incredible strength and context to design.
Consuming
In an effort to further create unique experiences, I'm always looking for new literature on design thinking, human-computer interaction, and writing for interaction. This is an integral part of my design process, and always will be.
Creating
I've also challenged myself to write more. Fictional vignettes, thoughts on design, and dealing with personal issues all provide incredible practice, and help me identify better ways to present, articulate, and defend ideas.
